Hispanic Heritage Book Drawing Winners!

Over 40 students read a book from the Hispanic Heritage display in the Media Center and several students read more than 1! For each book they read, the student filled out the "book fun" information sheet that accompanied the book. After returning the sheet to me, students put their name in a jar to try and win a free book.

This morning Mrs. Husketh drew 6 names from the jar. These students came to the Media Center and chose a book that something to do with Hispanic culture. The students were very excited because they get to keep these books! Some of their selections included Endangered Animals of South America, a Peruvian folktale, Guatemalan ABCs, and the life of Frida Kahlo. Congratulations and happy reading :)
